Hey Gypsy gang! I am moving in with my fella and so am looking for a new roomie for my apartment in Woodside, starting 11/1. Ive been here for 16 months and its such a great neighborhood. We are right by an elementary school, and its totally safe and quiet at night when I walk back late from work. You can walk either 8 minutes to the 7 train stop at 69th St or 10 minutes to the Jackson Heights stop with the express E and F, which gets you into midtown in about 25 min. Oh, and the apartment is dog friendly! Rent is $633/month (plus a $633 deposit when you move in - but no credit check). Its a two story apartment, with a patio out back. My room is on the basement level. And one of your roomies is my awesome, super sweet sister. There is one more roomie on the main floor, Patrick who is fairly quiet and keeps to himself. Oh, and word on the street (aka, my landlord told me the other day) is that we are getting a washer/dryer very soon! This is seriously such a great deal and I am a little sad to give it up. So I would love to see this get in the hands of a fellow Gypsy! Looking for someone who is fairly tidy, does their dishes promptly, keeps common spaces clean, and is all about honest, open roomie communication.
