Hey, I originally wanted to get my BSN and gain two years of experience and apply to a MSN and become a Nurse Practitioner, unfortunately since im only 16 years of age the MSN programs are going to be phased out and turned in to doctorate programs which is not something i look forward to. So my question is could I become a Physician Assistant if i were to obtain a bachelors in science and nursing and then get roughly 2000 hours of patient contact. I know I would I have to do a couple of pre-reqs to get in to the program, and the reason im not taking a more sciencey course or Pre-med is because if I PERHAPS just Maybe dont get in to PA school ill still have the job security that comes with being an RN, because ill have had my BSN. any tips ? thanks
