Hey, I usually am THE undisputed hater when it comes to online fads, especially Facebook ones, plus I dislike uploading pictures of myself to fb, but upon getting nominated, I realized that regardless of the means, it has gotten thousands of people who otherwise would have never donated anything to anywhere to chip in a little while further propelling the cause. No, you’re not obligated to upload a silly video of yourself on fb upon nomination, but do know that you single-handedly just stopped potentially hundreds or even thousands of dollars going to charity while the fact that you can read this means you’re more fortunate than at least half the people on this planet. You also do NOT have to donate to ALS either, as neither am I. ALS afflicts only 30000 people in the US with ~6k deaths, and their ratio of donations actually getting to research is not that high. As such I will most probably just dump a few canned goods and then some at the local Loblaws donation bin, as can you. Anyway, enjoy the video, and just have fun with it, as I surprisingly did, if you get nominated. Also, my nominations are Sally (your name is dolphin, dont be pussy, its not even cold in Vancouver), Jonathan Wong (not sure if youve been nommed yet though), and Sharon Tsui(I have no idea how to say your last name in English, sorry!). You have whenever you feel like to do it.
