Hey Leigh if you ever need a story to cover I would to see one about the thrift store business. As far as I know Goodwill Stores do next to nothing for the community except the hiring of a hundred or so people. I see people dropping items off around the clock who think the proceeds go to charity. Check out the Goodwill higher ups salaries in the attached article. Lexington has needy organizations like Habitat for Humanity, The Salvation Army and the Lexington Rescue Mission all are worthy causes that need donations and who perform worthwhile services to the community. This subject has been a hot button for me for a long long time. Thanks for letting me vent!
