Hey, MLB baseball fans. Remember Victor Conte? No? Well, Im sure you remember Barry Bonds. Well, Victor Conte was the guy behind BALCO that ensured Bonds passed all of his drug tests. Last night, it was revealed that one of his fighters, Cung Le, tested positive for Human Growth Hormone on a UFC card. Cung Le becomes the second fighter that Victor Conte has worked with directly (the second being Andre Berto in boxing) to test positive for a Performance Enhancing Drug. This despite the insistence of a number of boxing writers and media members that Conte turned legitimate when he began working in boxing. Today, Victor Conte denied having worked with Cung Le since 2012. Today, I pointed out that that was a lie, as Cung Le thanked him for sending him a supplement pack (via Contes company SNAC) about three months ago, ahead of this fight in which he tested positive. In other words, I (along with others) caught Victor Conte in an outright lie. Please feel free to click Share. We dont want people like this involved in US sports.
