How bout investing some of that coin -- anonymously, please -- in inner-city libraries and schools, and seeing if you can play a tiny part in changing the statistics that say that in America, the wealthier your parents are, the better your education. Try this: Take, say, this years $30 mill and ask, say, the 30 most blighted and poor of Pennsylvanias 500 school districts -- from Allentown ghetto to midstate Appalachia -- if they could use a mil each to, you know, help smart, poor kids start to get a chance to contribute to a system that pays you $650,000 for coming in freaking third at a golf tournament. Jesus, Phil. You have a chance to make a difference, and two years ago, you said you might quit golf because the tax bite was too severe? Do me a favor. Im a sports fan. Get out of my life.
