Hey Phoenixville ?????? Last year on any given day we had about 14 volunteers helping build the firebird . Many hands make for light work , many new friendships were formed and I can tell you honestly , knowing you played a part in the build makes the festival all that much more special . This year we have had approximately FOUR people throwing that 30 foot structure together with almost NO help from the community . This is a COMMUNITY event and the second biggest festival Phoenixville throws every year . Its time to step up people ! we would LOVE some help and company ! Simple jobs from pulling out nails and breaking down pallets to advanced jobs for those with more skills . Or if you are totally afraid of tools maybe bring the workers a snack , come play your guitar any and all help is appreciated . The build will commence Saturday at 10 am , I will be there around 12.30 after the farmers market . Step up ! Get involved ! Become a part of the community ! Take ownership of the event . It is a non profit GIFT to Phoenixville , be a PART OF YOUR COMMUNITY !.
