Hey Sportsmen and Sportswomen, It has been a crazy season for me so far. Maintaining and running 2 boats has me running on overtime 7 days a week. I needed a break before I snapped. So my friend Ed and I went up to the high mountains to work on rifles, do a little creek fishing, cooking great food on an open fire, cocktails and good music and just veg’ing from the rest of the world. We had great weather except for a few heavy thunder showers during 2 late afternoons. It did not stop me from working up some loads for my rifles. I started the first fire with old cooking oil that I found in my camp kitchen. I had my whole mobile shooting/reloading lab set up. We had baby back ribs; antelope back strap steaks, habanero sausages, corn on the cob, baked beans, grilled onions and big store bought bone in rib eye steaks. We also had a fine bar set up for the evening libations while listening to music. The music was played on a music box via blue tooth and my IPhone, amazing! I can’t wait to head back up in September to break in my grandson Cody at camping among other things. Also do the final rifle test and training before hunting season starts. Once I get a 2 boat business worked out and the boats done I will get back to my regular reports. There is just not enough time at this time. Enjoy all 22 photos !!!!
