The mystery is over as to how I got the infection that went to my legs. Today wasy routine podiatry appointment and I had 2/sore toes. One was an ingrown toenail that she removed. The other is an open area that turned to an ulcer on the underside of my 4th toe. She cultured it, cleaned and debrided it. Dr. Tamara Bay feels this is the site of the bacteria that made me so sick. I have prescription antibiotic ointment to dress it twice a day. I have to return to her office on Monday. With all the doctors and nurses at the hospital, not one of them looked at my feet the 5 daysvi was there! Now I have to be careful not to get osteomylitis and loose that toe. Prayers!
