Hey, Teri.... I found the article entitled.... How To Determine What Stone To Buy... I often get asked “What stone should I get,” “what stone is good for me” or “what stone do I need?” My typical response is “whatever stone you are drawn to is the stone you need.” I say that with confidence because I know that our higher self will always guide us in the right direction. That being said, there is a method we can use in order to determine what stone to buy and it is based on muscle testing, aka kinesiology. I was taught this by a shaman a few years ago and have shown this to countless others since then. I am not going to go into a long explanation about kinesiology (you can Google it), however a simple definition of kinesiology is the interaction between our body’s electrical and muscular systems. OK. Let’s begin… With your left hand, place the tip (fleshy area) of your thumb up against the tip of your index finger. When done properly, it will form a circle or look the A OK symbol. Now, with your right hand, do the same thing with your thumb and index finger interlocking them around your left fingers. Your right thumb should be underneath the circle made by the left thumb and finger and your right index finger should be above the circle. It should appear like two interlocking circles or rings. This “interlocking” position is what you will use to determine if the stone is for you. Place the crystal or gemstone on an uncluttered area, away from other stones or items. Link your fingers (in the position described above) approximately 2” – 3” above the stone you are testing. Do not maintain too tight or too loose of a grip with your fingers. Just keep them comfortably interlocked. With your fingers placed above the crystal, gently try pulling your fingers apart. If they remain tight and don’t want to budge, THAT STONE IS FOR YOU. If your grip loosens or breaks open, THAT CRYSTAL IS NOT FOR YOU. By now, I would imagine that many of you are scrambling for your crystals to check out this cool phenomenon. It does work.
