Hey Veterans in Tennessee. We need to VOTE Yes on Number 4. Amendment 4, if passed, would allow Veterans Service Organizations to hold annual (one per year) charitable gaming fundraisers, provided that these events are approved on an individual basis by the House and Senate. The word “Veteran” does not appear in the amendment language; however, “501(c)(19)” serves as the IRS code for Veterans Service Organizations. Simply put, a “yes” vote would pave the way for these annual charitable gaming fundraisers; a “no” vote would result in no change to the constitution.
