“The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination, wow much more when he brings it with evil intent” (Proverbs 21:27 NASB). God doesn’t accept the worship of the wicked! Many want to worship God without following His ways like those Jesus talked about in Matthew 7:21-23. Even worse, though, is those who worship God with evil intent. Perhaps to manipulate others or to appear righteous to gain favor with men. Some even foolishly worship thinking they can pull the wool over God’s eyes. There is only one kind of worship in the Bible that is acceptable–that which is in spirit and truth.The true worship must worship God from the heart with the right attitude. The true worship must also worship God according to His instructions; manmade worship must be avoided.
