The Homeless Resource Network is currently seeking candidates for a full-time Receptionist position. The Homeless Resource Network’s mission is to actively partner with the community to seek solutions to homelessness through advocacy, education, services and collaboration. Receptionist tasks: · Answer the phones, make appropriate referrals and record contacts · Greet all visitors and properly direct them to services · Maintain adequate office supplies for the organization · Coordinate facility functions · Assist clients with mail and storage services · Maintain good working relationship with clients, volunteers and staff · Maintain office calendar and schedule · Communicate with the public · Keep the reception area presentable · Make clients feel welcome The successful candidate is likely to be a person who: · Is GREAT at customer service · Has a consistent cheerful demeanor · Is highly organized · Is a successful communicator · Can multitask with ease · Can handle a crowd and chaos without missing a beat · Is not afraid of “dirty jobs” · Is comfortable with computers · Can establish rapport with a diverse group of clients · Has a high level of energy and optimism · Has a sense of humor The position is full-time (40 hrs) with an annual compensation level of $18,000 -$20,000.
