Hey all you Missouri veterans out there! Keep your chins up and keep doing what you need to do in order to get the life you want and deserve. An updated resumé, cover letter, updated professional photo, and letters of recomendation are compulsory--otherwise you are just an average John Q. Public. We are NOT average John Q. Publics. We have proven ourselves to our country, and have sacrificed our lives to live up to the oath of enlistment/commision. We possess skills, core values, and character that would benefit any orgazination, which exceeds the value of a 4-year college degree. Missouri legislature needs to acknowledge this. Congress needs to acknowledge this. There needs to be more transparancy with the accomplishments, sacrifice, professional education, and leadership training of a veteran. Veterans need to change this and stand together. We are NOT second class citizens.
