Hey all you dear, fun people! I have to tell you all that I - TopicsExpress

Hey all you dear, fun people! I have to tell you all that I know absolutely nothing about Facebook. My sweet grand-daughter Jess hooked me up several years ago while we were all on a family vacation and that was it. I never looked at it again. Then a year or two later when I updated my operating system during our 2-year mission, the new operating system sent me an email in outlook that I had a bunch of people who wanted me to be friends. So I opened the email and lo and behold, there were the names of many of the people whove been dear to Barb and me throughout our lives who asked me to be their friend. Well good grief, I thought, Of course were friends - weve been friends for a long time - You dont even have to ask! So I clicked on all those names that were there to prove my genuine friendliness and friendship and then, as Outlook sent me emails about you wonderful people Id open them up and enjoy seeing what youve been up to and call Barb over to look at your darling kids and watch your families grow and have fun reading all the news. However I didnt know to put anything on my own Facebook page or even that I had to or even HOW to. Then while we were in San Antonio with our kids, we went to visit Barbs nephew who just got back from 20 years in Germany where he lived w his family in a genuine castle and was having all kinds of fun experiences, and he said hed send us some pictures if he could figure out which of the 74 Scott Calllisters on Facebook belonged to me. I said, Sorry, I dont know myself which one belongs to me. So he told me to get on it and add a picture of myself so he could find it. So Barb had me do that so we could get those pictures - that was a week or so ago. Then Facebook began sending emails saying people were calling me an old fetcher so I knew they had to be my much-loved institute students and friends. BUT – since we’ve been called to serve another mission as Transitional Service Missionaries in our region [with the responsibility of trying to help and assist transient and homeless people traveling through the area] I didnt have time to do anything about it until now. So this morning I clicked on one of those emails and lo and behold, as I looked around, I finally discovered how to post a message on this thing. At least I’m hoping that when I’m finished with this little story it will show up for you folks to read so you’ll know I havent been unfriendly, just un-knowing and inexperienced with this whole thing. I’m also going to change the picture to include that beautiful woman [who caused you all to wonder how a fat old bald-headed man like me could ever con a “cute chick” like her to marry me], so you’ll know she hasn’t ditched me yet. Anyway, we love you all - it’s sure been nice reading about you and seeing your pictures. Hope this works –
