Hey bud, I know you are still with us in spirit because I can feel it. You are the type of friend who never ever gave up on me or anyone else - so I know whatever Im doing, you are always going to be right there cheering me on and reminding me to give nothing but 110%. Ill never forget all the firsts we had as best friends growing up living down the street from one another. I was always the quieter, conservative one and you helped me break out of my shell and let loose - I know I would be a very different person today if our paths never crossed so early in life. Among countless other things you taught me how to cruise for chicks on Jacks lake (guess you couldnt convince me on that front eh haha), how to waterski, you were my first workout buddy, you introduced me to my first drag strip (which I became addicted to and will definitely return to one day, dont worry Ill bring Mich along so he can coach me again), and many years later you were my first friend who came to pride weekend because you really wanted to support your friend - and see what all the excitement was about. We bonded that day like we hadnt bonded in years...and I knew afterwards that without a doubt you were truly going to be a friend for life no matter what. When we met as kids, we became the brothers neither of us had. Even though life changes and geography, and now death has pulled us a part, the brothers part never died and never will. Im going to miss you Corey but I think Mich said it best - all I want to do from here on out is make you proud. And I promise to do just that. Steve
