Hey, everybody. The Sons and Will Champlin did the Santa Barbara Lobero Theater gig on Saturday and everyone had a ball. The joint was jumping and pretty close to sold out. The band was on fire and Will played and sang beautifully, as usual, and his guys were throwing down. Alan Hertz played with Will AND the Sons. Busy boy and an awesome drummer. The Sons did about 2 hours+ and everyone loved it. We hadnt played Santa Barbara for quite a while and it was cool to see old friends come out and see us and other people in the audience who they hadnt seen, well, since the last Sons gig. The Sons are looking at a Yoshis, Oakland gig on May 8 so we can all see each other again in less than a year. Were also looking at Chico on May 11 at the Sierra Nevada Brewing Company venue that is so nice. Anyway, to the people who came to the Lobero, thanks a ton; without you its all kinda academic, huh?
