Hey everyone! Hope you guys are having a great weekend, I know that us here at SLSA have had a great one with us smashing it in the ICC sports this weekend! Saturday was miserable in terms of weather, but we managed to secure first place in the Football (not so well in Tug of War though ha). We advanced through to the finals without a loss to face the OUJA (Japanese Association) team. It was an intense game, and extremely close with the winner ending up being decided with a penalty shoot out! Big ups to the boys and girls who played, especially Aakash Ch, Kristian Zaleta and Jack Geddes! Dodgeball was awesome today! There was some stiff competition, especially from the Fiji Club and ISA. The semis were SLSA vs Hong Kong, and Fiji vs ISA, with SLSA and Fiji going through to the finals. It was an intense final, but we managed to out of the bag! Special mention for the Pocket Rocket that is Kavindu Weerasekera. Cheers to ICC for an awesome weekend of sport, and with us securing first place in both Dodgeball and Football, we came first place overall for the tournament! Its an amazing achievement guys and we are all so proud of everyone who took part, be it players or supporters :) - Committee 2014 Here are our Dodgeball champions for the weekend!
