Hey everyone, I am making this post to announce that I will be making some adjustments to the shipping prices on the Diabolic Force storenvy webstore soon. To summarize, D.F.D. has been losing money on virtually all international orders due to high postage rates and this has to stop if we are to continue to operate internationally. 3 dollars here, 5 dollars there, but it adds up after a while. I will continue to absorb these losses in the meanwhile but people who frequent the store should be aware of these changes to come. I wont bore you with all the details. But the goal is to continue our mission statement while still offering fair prices and maintaining the best customer service possible. The storenvy platform is not very sophisticated but it has many advantages for D.F.D. as well so I appreciate your understanding. I will also be adding the option to purchase additional shipping services such as insurance and tracking via the webstore so all you have to do is add it to your cart just like you would any CD or other item. Historically speaking, it seems that purchasing registration for international orders has been avoided by many due to the high cost associated with it, but I have to tell you here and now that there is no way to track any package internationally without it. There have only been 1 or 2 complaints since I opened the webstore in January, but it worries me nonetheless. So hopefully this will help streamline the process (you wont have to email me to ask for additional services or make a separate payment) as well as provide some peace of mind for those who reside in countries abroad waiting for their parcel. And finally I would like to just say thanks to all of you who continue to support and shop at Diabolic Force. I started this operation over 8 years ago and its persisted because the metal underground is still alive and thriving despite everything that has happened in the new millennium! Maniacs who prefer a record or CD over downloading an album, or still read paper zines and wear the t-shirts of their favorite death metal bands, YOU are the ones who help keep it all going!
