Hey everyone I could really use some suggestions. Im currently training with Pam Bitzer Harrison for or first full in Hartford. Im finding that during long runs I hit a major wall for the second half. Im so strong through 10-12 miles then its TORTURE. Pam and I have talked about it and are thinking maybe its a fueling issue? Using energy gels along the way but Im eating breakfast at about 6-6:30 for 7:30 run that goes about 4 hours long(just shy of that). What if anything does everyone eat long the way? Pam uses almonds which Ive tried but just to dry for me at that point... Suggestions please!!
