Hey everyone! I have a friend in Los Angeles who is looking for a web designer (they must live in LA) and I told him I would post this for him to see if it helps. Any web designers in LA interested? Contact info below... Major TV company looking for a freelance web designer/programmer guru to design a video heavy website. The site’s function is to allow users to post videos (preferably by embedding vimeo, etc.) to the front end of the site. Once “uploaded” all videos would remain private and only viewable by an admin group. Must be easy for admin group to curate the videos and view them through a private portal, as well as move select videos to public. All content will be videos and articles, some stills. A sample that does such a thing: greenlightmymovie Requirements: - Strong html5, CSS understanding - Mobile compatibility knowledge - Server side database experience (drupal, wordpress, octopress, etc a big plus) - Good design portfolio demonstrating layout and CSS cohesiveness - Located in LA, preferably minutes from Burbank - Must meet face-to-face with clients to discuss and plan site. - Must be able to demonstrate/show previous work samples Compensation: Paid.
