Hey everyone. I just wanted to share this song because it really speaks volumes. Good things come to those who wait. A year ago, I went into the grad school process impatient, anxious, and trying to be someone I really wasnt. In the end, things didnt go as I had planned. After going through that process, I learned so much about myself, what I have to offer, and I began to see the meaning behind trust the process. Many people wonder when the process will be over or what the process is. I believe that the process is your individual journey and its one that will never end. Things happen for a reason. For me, there were lessons I still needed to learn before I embarked on my grad school journey. In taking time to learn those lessons, I entered the process this year better than I was last year. I waited and good things are happening for me. I already have 1 interview offer but I know that more are to come. It doesnt matter if all of the programs I applied to give me offers because what is supposed to happen will happen. All I have to do is follow my individual journey and see where it takes me. Like others have posted, interview offers and acceptances are starting to come in. However, just because yours havent, doesnt mean that they arent on their way. Your journey is different from everyone elses. Believe in yourself and what you have to offer. There is a place for all of us in this field because we are enthusiastic about the work we will be doing. I wish all of us the best of luck and remember good things come to those who wait.
