Hey everyone! I wanted to post in regards to people parking on the curb/sidewalk...especially on Hawthorne Rd. I felt it necessary to address this due to the fact my fiancee, of whom is disabled with CIDP, is in a wheelchair. We like to walk down to the store, but it is becoming increasingly difficult due to vehicles parked on half of the sidewalk. I do understand that the road isnt exactly very wide, and it can be difficult to ensure that a vehicle is not hit, but I am seeing people parking on half the sidewalk with an empty perfectly fine driveway. Basically I am asking that people try to refrain from parking on the curb/sidewalk to help ensure others can get to their destination safely when on foot.
