Hey everyone Im writing this to share what has happened to my better half. Last Thursday she came home complaining that her left leg was weak and also it hurt along with pain in her lower back. She thought maybe she twisted her back at work and it would go away. The weekend came and went and she still had no relief. Called the doctor,they could see her on Tuesday went and they did an MRI on her back the doctor said inconclusive and had her go to the ER to have a Cat scan, more tests and they admitted her. Come to find out she had a stroke, no other visible signs just the dead leg, shes only 55,we now know that she has blockage in her carotid artery and in a week or so they will put a stent in to get the proper blood flow. Over the last 17 years Ive been the one with problems, she has never really been sick or in hospital. So remember a stroke doesnt read so you cant always go by the signs for a stroke. Women have far more chances for having one. If something similar happens dont wait to long to get it checked out. With or without insurance go to the ER better safe than DEAD
