Hey, family: Lynnie update. Spent the last 16 hours or so in the UK ER with niece Lynnie. She is doing well now, but had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital early this morning because she was in pain from pressure in her chest and difficulty breathing. Docs determined heart is fine, but a LOT of fluid had accumulated in her chest cavity, causing her lung to collapse. Once a tube was inserted to drain the fluid -- did I mention it was a LOT of fluid? -- her lung reinflated and all is well. She is resting comfortably in an ER room awaiting transfer to a regular room. I wimped out and came home to crash until they call about her room or until the sun rises, whichever comes first. Keep those prayers and good thoughts coming. Thanks.
