Hey first years! Im running to be your first year eng rep and heres a little tidbit about me. I love baking, hate writing essays, I play an alto sax, and severely hate Maple because its downright frustrating. As to why you should vote for me, keep reading! I enjoy meeting and talking to new people such as yourselves, and coordinating events for everyone to take part in. I have some amazing ideas for the upcoming year that I cant wait to implement, but more importantly, Im excited to incorporate your guys ideas into the councils initiatives. In the past, I have held executive positions on councils and I look forward to sharing my experience and skills in a new environment. If elected, I will represent the first year engineering class to the best of my ability, ensuring that I remain in contact with the first year student body as well as the MES council. For future events, a few of my ideas include faculty nights, BBQs, overnight trips, socials, dances, and anything else that is suggested by members of the engineering student body, like you!
