Hey folks, I found worship in chapel amazing this morning. This is a word that came to mind as we were worshiping: My children, why do you doubt my word. You struggle with the worries of this world and yet you forget that I have overcome everything this world could ever throw at you. The stone was, is and always will be rolled away. Death has not grasp on you because I have overcome that pain. The enemy has and will always sling arrows of deceit and try to confuse you but I have given you a sound and clear mind. Fellow students I sense many of you are struggling with the various worries of life be it finances, work, homework, studying, relationships (romantic, family and platonic) and some of you are feeling overwhelmed. There are days where you feel like throwing in the towel and give in but that is exactly what the enemy wants. God made and created you in your mother’s womb and I am positive that God does not mistakes. Some may consider themselves not great at school and feel like they are failing or will drown by all that they need to do. I want to encourage you that God knows exactly where you are and has promised to never leave you or forsake you. He will be your strength as you go step by step relying on His word as a lamp unto your feet. If you are struggling today I encourage you to look at Isaiah 43:1-7. You are indeed precious in His sight and He wants you to remember that the journey with Him is not a sprint but a marathon. The times where you want to throw in the towel and quit may you push through the wall and you will get to see the reward. Your race is not my race and my race is not your race. We each have our own race to run based on the gifting that God has placed inside you. I encourage that you run that race not with a temporal vision but with an eternal one. I believe that He has called you here at PLBC for a reason and a purpose and I believe in each one of you. Hold on to His truth and walk with your head held high.
