Hey friends! Aw, since a few people have said to me now that they were worried I’ve not said much on FB lately and missed me - here’s a wee update just to put their minds at ease! Haha ! ;) The past seven weeks have been pretty mental since starting my HNC course and at the same time really getting into my role as Vice President at the College, helping organise and host events like Fresher’s, the Referendum Debate and planning stuff for the year ahead etc. (Still feels really weird saying I am Vice President lol). This week I helped organise and host this year’s Student Conference on Wednesday and then Class Rep Training today for around 160 students while throwing in a Psychology essay on the Psychoanalytic approach and some heavy studying on Socialism and Nationalism for Politics and History, Academic Research Methods plus a bit of Critical Analysis and Sociology lol. I’m loving it though ! I’ve gave it my best shot and everyone seems happy with what I’ve done so far which is awesome. Most importantly, I’m really happy with what I’m doing these days and that’s half the battle I suppose. I didn’t think I would be doing this a few years ago but as I’ve said before if I can do it – thats proof that anyone can turn their life around if they’re not happy and if they are motivated, get the chance or make the chance for themself to do what they really want ;) Off on holiday for a week now - a perk of studying and working at the College ;) It’s already filled with a couple of day’s sparky homers though lol, but hopefully a well overdue wee visit down to London Town to catch up with some old friends!
