Hey gang, Today marks the second year of Eriks passing and while - TopicsExpress

Hey gang, Today marks the second year of Eriks passing and while it is a somber time to reflect, I remind and encourage everyone, once again, not to mourn, but to celebrate the extraordinary, if all too brief life of Erik John Peterson. Those of you who attended Eriks celebration may remember the story of how when I arranged for Erik to get a suit for a college graduation present, he opted for a brightly colored fuchsia suit rather than a traditional grey Brooks Brother one that I foolishly suggested. While I could never fill his shoes, today in his honor I am wearing that very same fuchsia suit and I invite one and all to don Eriks fuchsia colored glasses and take him and his energy, enthusiasm and love along with us as we make our way through this and every day. And a poem from our mom Meredith: For Erik on Guy Fawkes Day Where to begin? What to say? What to do? Fall carries on, another year without you. So many memories - Ill channel a few... We all traversed the world with you, As you trotted the globe, Key West, The Turtle Crawls, Molokai Beaches and Waterfalls, Londons Pubs, Baths guilded halls, The Harrow Road, it goes without saying, The deckside parties and music playing! Kylie and Jill, the flat in Nice, Provence, Renoir, The Maight and Matisse. We circled above the Grand Corniche - Forests of Beech, Cedar and Pine, Oh how we miss you, Boy of ours, boy of mine.
