Hey good evening everyone this is Chris. Steve, Scotty, And Joey have done a great job updating the upcoming weather situation. I am just repeating much of what they have said already. I have been looking over weather data for the last two hours or so after returning from vacation this past week. First off we are not trying to panic or scare anyone but we want you to be weather ready the next 3 days. A very dangerous weather event will unfold across the 4 county area. Flash flooding, tornadoes, damaging straight line winds, and large hail are all players in this deck of cards. A very dangerous weather week. Please be weather ready this week. Biggest concerns in Western NC will be Monday Afternoon,Tuesday Evening through Early Wednesday Morning, and then Wednesday Early Afternoon. Main threats on Monday will be damaging straight line winds, large hail. Main threats Tuesday Evening through Wednesday Morning will be tornadoes, damaging winds, and large hail. Main threats Wednesday Afternoon will be straight line winds, isolated tornadoes, and Large hail. All three days bring the chance for flash flooding.
