Hey guys! An art related question. Were making this game for the PC and decided to use low-res art. But were concerned about how the sprites would look in different screen resolutions. Is there any specific technique to follow for tending to different resolutions, without stretching the game? Wed like to keep a constant aspect ratio(Or something close). Ive heard downscaling or upscaling pixel art would be bad. Or would we have to make two different versions of the same sprite? Itd be great if you could point us in the right direction! Heres a sample of how our character would look, if youre curious!
