Hey guys! Heres a quick update from the meeting today for the majority of you who werent there! Firstly, I would encourage you all to go to Christina Chows DCM this friday at 3! Itll be at Union and well be making decorations for DCON and going over some new upcoming divisional and district events! So bring a friend and head to the 100 building to hang out and get hours! Secondly, for people running for an officer position, please turn in your forms and for those of you who have any budding interest in becoming an officer I would greatly recommend you contact Daniel Rodricks or Charity Young in order to get the info/forms! Its a great experience and youll learn to love service like never before! On to events! Firstly we have a Friends of Trees event next Saturday the 31st and it will be going from 8:45am - 1pm it will be at the Columbia Childrens Arboretum Planting in NE Portland, the address is 10040 NE 6th Drive, Portland, Oregon 97211. They will provide breakfast, snacks, and hot chocolate/coffee! Dont worry about bringing any tools either, they will be provided for! This event is a great way to get 4 of 10 hours you need this year knocked out quickly! Secondly, we have a super fun origami program going on at the Cascade Park Library! We will be making cranes, pigs, rings, frogs, airplanes, butterflies (44!!!), whales, and dogs! We would like 8-16 people for the event, this will be a fun way to get some key club hours with a friend! This will take place Saturday the 24th at the Cascade Park Library, from 2 - 4:45pm I really recommend this if youre trying to get a friend into Key Club or just wanna have some laid back fun while serving!
