Hey guys, I have a new 8 week old pup and a nearly 3 year old dog. For the best part things are going well, they play wonderfully! Doing exactly what they should, they are never unsupervised. My only worry is that my pup can really lose it with my older dog I mean to the point of snarling, growling, teeth right on show and biting. Its so much more than just rough play. My older dog tries to calm the situation by pawing the pup or turning his bum to him, to no avail at some points. I have to time out pup for a few minutes. Im not sure the video shows exactly what Im talking about, but its a video of them together. T.i.a :)
