Hey guys! If u want to de value ur home please do not use joinery lofts or K Marsh lofts.. or joineryand lofts (he changes the name weekly as not to get caught!) he advertises on this page and in our area! In a matter of hours he destroyed my home. His 20 yrs experienced assistants (who were both under 25) used my hallway walls to wipe their hands on.. The loft hatch that took 10 hrs to put up.. When I was being shown (by his lads) how to open it.. FELL OFF onto my head! (See photos). When he said the hatch had to be put into a different room I said I would empty the room out, he told me there was no need as everything would be covered up.. I had canvases, clothes.. All ruined with the mess. And this man (I use the term loosely!) kev marsh.. Built a second one from MDF.. It looks like a 10 yr old has knocked it together in woodwork class.. Its not straight and it has tape... Yes TAPE covering the huge gaps, and is dangerous. Seriously, this company / man is not a joiner.. Hes a cowboy! My carpets have also been destroyed and I have had to repaint everywhere. He did say he would pay me back some money to cover the cos of the carpet.. Then i recieved creepy msgs saying he loved me?!?! then when i didnt adhere to his sleezy advances he changed his mind and became abusive and has since refused to compensate for the atrocity he built. I am now left with repainting the house, have to buy new carpets, and a loft hatch that is stuck to the ceiling with what seems to be decorators caulk and tape. Iv had several people get in touch with me who have had the same issues. He also told me the reason the loft hatch fell off onto my head was because the person operating the hatch hadnt read the instruction manual.. Firstly I wasnt given a manual and secondly.. It fell off when one of his workers was opening it! I didnt touch the bloody thing! If anyone of you has had work done by this incompetent imbecile please get in touch. (Several already have, with the same issues). I just dont want anyone else to have to go through the same, or even worse, a child killed by his handwork. He then tried to say that I need new beams in my loft that need replacing at 200 a pop.. And he could sort it.. I had a survey done on my home less than 12 months ago that state the timbers of my roof are in perfect order. Many thanks. Feel free to peruse his craftsmanship below!
