PROBLEMS OF PAKISTAN- TAX COLLECTION AND ITS USAGE In Pakistan both these systems need complete overhaul. A big percentage of people do not pay their required share of taxes. Rather, a majority enters in some wheeling and dealing with tax officials to hide real income. It includes some big corporations, big business tycones, giant traders, big retailers doing business in 50K or above daily etc Usages of Tax collections is also not on priority basis. We have to set our priorities for Expenditures. To me these priorities in order are , Speedy Justices, Education, Health Care, Social Welfare & Development , Research & Development, Armed Forces, Policing, Job Training & Creation, etc. A one time Tax on people worth trillions of Rupees in 90% range is desirable, if we are serious to turn the Economy around. CURRENT GOVT. IS MADE OF RICH PEOPLE AND WILL NOT DARE TO DO IT.
