Hey guys I’m a freakin huge nerd for fire emblem games and after watching the trailer I couldnt wait for gamexplain’s analysis machine so I ran my own analysis and here’s wat I came up with (srry its long the trailer holds many unseen secrets): there appears to be a war between a western and eastern kingdoms. the western having a medieval style and use Calvary and archers while the eastern has a Japanese edo style and prefers spearsmen/swordsmen and Pegasus. There also appears to be a new type of enemy that I’ll be calling the giants. they are giant golems that have stone faces (you can see one in both :33 and 1:29) I’m unsure of who’s side these giants are on however at 1:02 the allied unit at the bottom left corn has a very similar appearance to the giant this could possibly mean that giants might b able to join ur army. The two generals of the armys can be spotted at the end of the video a swordsman clad in red and white armor and the horsemen shown earlier killing one of the giants. Afterwards showing the mysterious girl with blue hair. These 3 are the main characters for each army. It is unknown whether u’ll be helping the eastern or western army but in every single map scene u can see 2 figures as allies; a unit that looks striking similar the blue haired girl and the boy @ 1:22. The boy has very specific armor and I spotted 2 different times (1:02 & 1:10) with similar armor but different hair styles (2 short male hair styles and 1 long hair tied in a pony tail) this leads me to assume that this is the return of the MU. However since he is centered @ 1:02 instead of the blue haired girl he may be the main protagonist (meaning no more lugging around another chrom :D) the other units shown in ur army actually strike a similar appearance to characters that were in fire emblem awakening. The swordswoman @ 1:02 does she not look strikingly similar to sumia? (even down to the long flowing hair and similar color attire?) and Pegasus rider @ 1:11 doesnt she look similar to sully? This could just be a wild guess but these two might actually be decedents of the units from FE;A. anyway only a few more things to point out. If ur quick enough @ :52 u;ll see an elderly man dressed in royal robes watching the blue haired girl dance in an empty theater filled only with lanterns, could he be a kind king watching over one of his favorite subjects or an evil king forcing the girl to dance for his amusement/amazement? Moving on, @ 1:26 you can see that they are bringing back the elemental triangle but in a very different way this time. The girl on the right uses a wand that spews out fire on impact while the girl on the left uses a fan (and if ur quick enough to spot it) that shoots out an icy silhouette of a cat racing straight towards the enemy dealing ice damage. And lastly the final scene @ 1:33, it shows many floating islands with structures on each one, and a opening in the clouds that actually strikes a similar figure to the other islands. How did these islands get here? Is it some sort of alternate dimension or did they literally lift up to the sky? Either way these landmarks hold very large importance to the story. After that we are shown the blue haired girl thrown into water(?) with a white deer/dragon hybrid we can actually see that it has its hands claws around her neck as it disperses. Could this be some sort of holy/demonic being that is after her? We can also see that the same necklace she was wearing in the first scene is brightly glowing and we all know glowing= massive importance XD anyway as the deer/dragon hybrid continues to disperse it reveals a humanoid form still clenching her neck, until the scene ends.
