Hey guys i just posted the gluten ingredient beware list to my biz page, but for those who dont follow that page…Here is the list from Kiehls on gluten containing ingredients in their products!! Im sure you are wondering…does it matter if your skin care product or makeup contains gluten? YES. It does because ultimately everything you put on your body seeps into our pores. And if you have celiac disease or a severe intolerance you will be affected even if the gluten is on your skin. Have you ever wondered what gluten ingredients there are in makeup? While I was at Kiehls, the manager was nice enough to give me their gluten list of ingredients to watch out for! I am so appreciate of this list, because many of the ingredients below dont mention words that are obviously made from a gluten derivative. Some ingredients below you wouldnt think were a source of gluten. Now to be clear, below Maltodextrin and Dextrin both are stated as having gluten. Not all products that have those two ingredients are derived from gluten. Sometimes they can be derived from corn starch. But for the sake of Kiehls, these ingredients ARE derived from gluten. What does this mean? It means you always have to ask the manufacturer if the source is derived from gluten. Here is this handy list! Print it out!
