Hey guys, something I need to clear up. A lot of earlier Silence stuff was basically all me, but starting late 2011 it was a joint effort between Sean Dolich and myself. Sean doesnt get half the credit he deserves with the project let alone, any project hes been involved with. From the second he took on silence the entire musical direction shifted and the sound you hear is more his vision than mine. Sure, i wrote a solid chunk, but I wouldnt even of had a direction to go in without him. This brings me to another point, Lindy Harter wrote the majority of the lyrics on Dead Presidents. While we were in the recording process, I was so convinced I was dying (Im a hypochondriac), schizophrenic, falling apart, that I couldnt compose a thought, let alone the lyrical poetry that he did. He portrayed what I felt in words that I could never. Also, despite anything you may feel about him, Louie Garafolo made touring with silence the last two years possible. He also basically supported me through out 2011 And 12, like I was his kid. Hes never asked for anything in return and was always happy to help. Without Louie, we never would have got to play those songs in 45 states. I appreciate that more than anything. Because when I was 9 years old in my room, that was my dream, and he basically made it a reality.
