Hey guys, update on The Basics RocknRoll Party, which we intend to enrol for the upcoming Victorian Elections on November 26th. Were developing a Constitution (or Manifesto for you more revolutionary types), but in the meantime we need the names & addresses of at least 500 members in order to register. Basically, we supply those names & addresses to the VEC (Victorian Electoral Commission), and they send you out letters to confirm youre a member. It wont cost you anything (they even have Reply Paid envelopes), and you have 3 weeks to send back the confirmation/ SOOOO... if youre still as keen as many of you seem to be (and yes, you can still support the Greens and be a Member of the Party), you can kick it off by sending us a PM with your name and address. Thats it! No phone numbers, no email addresses, nothing funny - just name & address. And together we can see if we can make some small positive changes!! wally, kris & tim xxx
