Hey hash masters! Ive been doing research for a couple months now and I finally felt comfortable enough to do my first run.... First of all here is everything I gathered before beginning: -2 5-gallon buckets (Im only doing an 1oz run but they worked fine) Have one bucket ready starting from 25M bag to 190M bag on top -Cheap ass 220M-25M bags. I def wish I went with bubblebags but its all I could afford -Towel-25 micron screen -Shitload of recycled papertowels -Organic parchment paper -Hydrogen Peroxide to clean everything -A clean, dark, dry area to dry hash (I lined my empty cupboards with cardboard with parchment paper on top) -ICE! -Distilled cold water -1 oz of fresh frozen Bruce Banner -Microplane or strainer -Pole for stirring -Spoon SoOooO lez make some hash!... 1. CLEAN everythang with hydrogen peroxide 2. Place 220M bag in 1st bucket 3. Put ice - bud - more ice - bud - cold water(just enough to be able to stir it) in the 220M bag 4. Let soak a couple minutes 5. Use pole to stir SLOWLY for about 10 minutes 6. Wait a couple minutes to let trichomes fall 7. Pull 220M bag. Slowly pour the trichome rich water into the 190M-25M lined 2nd bucket 8. Pull bags one by one. Have your towel, 25M screen with paper towels under it ready to go to get rid of extra water 9. When you pull each bag, place it on the towel to get rid of as much moisture possible before scooping. Use a spoon to scoop up the sticky patties and place on 25M screen 10. **I made the mistake of doing this outside in 4 degree weather thinking that the colder it could be the better-- NOPE! That shit froze as soon as I pulled the bag. So I had to hurry up and get everything inside so that the moisture wouldnt freeze in the patty. DOH! I was planning on freezing the patty and then microplanning (you always want to make sure you can get as much moisture out of the patty that you can before freezing) but I had such a small amount that I just decided to spread it as thinnly as possible on parchment paper. 11. Dont forget to clean your bags as soon as your done to make them last longer 12. I kept my hash in the cupboard on top of card board with parchment paper for a little over a week to dry 13. Cured in a glass container for 4 weeks 14. Pressed with a flat iron between parchment paper 15. Smoke that bubble! ☺ **It turned out to be super bubbly full melt so Im pretty proud of myself for my first run but I would love to hear some feedback and advice from all you hash masters! There is always something new to learn!**
