If you are base training, then you are working on fat-burning metabolism, which means your plates of food throughout the day should match up with the one on the right. How many of you are eating a plant-based diet, adding lean protein and healthy fat, while keeping your non-vegetable carbohydrate intake low? Base training season is the time of year to burn the fat since your intensity is low! But your diet has to match your exercise. Just some food for thought! (Terrible pun)
