For homing into my earthen harp A silence came in, flying down Like a bar of a song long missed to sing It came winging and flying down All the golden plumage preened An agony quivered in my heart Like the dangling flowers of desire Bloomed by the regular caress of love The silence has sealed the flower lips And the soul of Mother Earth herself Silence in the tear drop of the clouds above And in the grain of sand, down below - my attempt to translate a beautiful malayalam song by Prof ONV Kurup titled Ente Mann Veenayil Koodanayaanoru...
