Hey lovely people, Ive got some very good news for you all. Well thats what I believe. As from the next semester, presence will be no more be an issue, what i mean is that, previously a student should have had at least 50% of presence else a D was awarded for that module but on-wards even if you have 1 presence for a particular module your result will not be affected, we the students union fought for this, but after due reflection to be true im not for this new rule, as I believe many students wont attend any lecture which can be very bad. So if you all wish you can vote for this new rule but if some of you are are against it, please comment. Also as from next semester even if you fail your course work and pass your exams, you will be awarded a pass for that module. It will no more be treated separately and you will not get a resit. We fought for these two new rules, as many students have been withdrawn due to these issues. But im still not for the presence thing. If you think it is good for our university, Im willing to proceed with it, but its for you to decide. Moreover we are still fighting for them to change the rule about resits, as if a student got 4 resits in a year, he/she must be withdrawn and we are trying to change that.
