Hey students, this is a reminder that the Big Brother logo project that Daniel Eatock set last Wednesday is still live - the deadline is Monday morning at 9.30am. This is open to all levels of GD students. Dan is a big name in Graphic Design and its a really great opportunity to collaborate and exhibit alongside him at the Kemistry Gallery and on his website. Youre basically being given the opportunity to design your own Big Brother logo but in a collaborative way in a gallery context. Getting chosen would be a real asset for your portfolio and professional profile. Take the opportunity! When you submit, please send me a copy of your artwork too: edgilltutor@googlemail Dans brief and artwork again here: Big Brother 1984 to 2015 (23 absent logos) I made nine Big Brother logos, my first in 2001, and my last in 2009 (they are all archived on my website; eatock) Working in collaboration with you I would like to fill in the missing gaps and propose 23 new logos, one for each of the following years…1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015. These logos must use the master eye template (attached). They must be vector EPS formats – titled with your full name e.g daniel_eatock.eps Deadline: Please email your EPS logos to daniel@eatock no later than 9.30am on Monday 22 December. I will make a selection of the 23 best logos. The chosen selection will be exhibited at the Kemistry Gallery in February 2015 as part of a group show along with other designers who have shown at the gallery over the past 10 years. The logos will also be introduced to my website, one logo each year in the chronological list of projects.I will be able to answer any questions if you email me and ask.
