SENORA VALDEZ Female 30’s to 60’s Comic Character actress Owner of the hotel; extravagantly proud of her somewhat dilapidated Caribbean establishment. Think Mrs. Roper (Three’s Company) meets Sophia Vergara (Modern Family). Be prepared for affected Spanish accent JUNE SHERWOOD Female 20’s to 30’s The Ingénue Wholesomely pretty, a strong believer in firm thighs and firm values! She is not dumb. Positive and hopeful but a bit naïve….not unlike any Disney princess. SMITH Male 30’s to 40’s The Middle Management Thug Eager for ill-gotten-gains…..just not too good at getting them. Always thinking, planning, scheming…needs to stop all three. The little mutt dog that circles the big bull dog always asking “Ya wanna play ball?” Chester and Spike if you know your Warner Brothers cartoons! (Physical role) TONY SCOPEC Male 40’s to 50’s The Heavy Vicious thug….unhappy to be stuck with Smith. All business. None of it good. While Smith schemes, Scopec beats up the problem. May be played with Italian or Australian accent. RAYMOND PUMPHREY Male 20’s to 40’s The Put-Upon A nervous chemistry professor visiting the island under duress. Don Knotts in anything with a touch of Woody Allen….in anything. GEORGE RUSHMORE Male Late 30’s to 50’s The Slime ball Director A sleazy movie maker committed to making a sleazy movie. Might have directed Boogie Nights. Wears a track suit has never run a day in his life. The physique and attitude of Jackie Gleason and Dom Deluise. KEITH Male 20’s to late 30’s The lazy side kick Rushmores laid-back assistant. The only calluses this kid has are on his butt from on line gaming. When not working can be found in his Mom’s basement. Shaggy, Seth Rogan and every comic book story owner are his best friends. THE PORTER Male 20’s to 40’s The quintessential bell hop, handy man, scapegoat and nephew to the owner. A cheerful maniac whos got his eye on the suitcase. Tim Roth as Ted the Bell Boy in Four Rooms. Jerry Lewis as the bell hop in The Bell Hop….or ok you get the point. VICTORIA Female 20’s to Late 50’s The not so much an ingénue A full figured and fiery actress who wants more than coconut oil…lots more. She is too smart for George’s good. A bit Mae West and Bette Midler
