Hey there my friends, This is Black Friday, this is also Thanksgiving, and I’ve just realized that I’ve been active in the music industry for 20 years. I want to celebrate with you this moment of joy and want at the same time to say Thanks to the Music, and specifically Electronic Music for giving me the chance to live a wonderful existence. I wondered how I could give Electronic Music a wonderful present as I think it’s my turn this time, and wanted to give something that’s priceless in my eyes but that I could easily get rid of, as I don’t believe into ownership and possession. What I believe in is Education, and I want people to be educated, to be taught what Electronic Music is, no matter which social ranking, which origin, everyone has the right to discover this wonderful life experience. No better place for that purpose than the Bob Moog Foundation , that is active into this specific area, giving the chance to anyone to learn the history of our Music and get the proper education around it. I wanted the reward of my donation to Music to be remarkable enough for both my fans and the Bob Moog Foundation. This is why as of Today, I’m announcing that I put my very own customized Roland AX Keytar, which I’ve been intensively touring across the planet with, into auction, for my fans, and this for a good cause. The highest bidder will get the keyboard (in good condition!), its adapter, and the strap, the way it is. You can play it, you can have it hanging on your wall, you can do anything you want with it. There’s no reserve price, though I’d like you guys to be generous enough. For me it’s a sacrifice, but I can deal with it. You’re not only bidding on an object with a Story, you’re more importantly bidding for a good cause, as the entire net income off this auction will be donated to the Bob Moog Foundation. I won’t make any money out of it. I want to share a part of my Story with you guys, maybe with you all, and this is probably the best way to do so.
