Hey wellington people: Movie night Thursday 23 October 2014. Let me know if you are keen: OXFAM fundraising event. We have entered in a team in the 2015 OXFAM Trailwalker, where teams of four have to smash out a 100km trail walk (or run) in under 36 hours. We have entered in the “fast” category and hope to complete the event in under 24 hours. This is a fundraising event and in order for us to even make the start line we need to raise $2000. To start the ball rolling we are holding a movie night on Thursday 23 October 2014 at 6.15pm, up in Brooklyn at Penthouse cinemas. Tickets are $20 each and include some raffle draws and maybe a couple of little extras. The movie is Pride which is in the tradition of british comedies that have gone before it with a touch of drama mixed with a good portion of dry wit and a bit of ridiculousness.
