Hey, would you be interested to go the Everest Base camp this November??? Below is the itinerary.. 9th November 2013 : Day 01: Kathmandu. Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel and welcome dinner in the evening with typical Nepalese food. 10th Nov: Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing. After breakfast at hotel start Kathmandu and Patan cities sightseeing with city tour guide. And rest of the day is for preparation and trekking packing. Overnight stay at hotel. 11th Nov: Day 03: Kathmandu to Lukla (2886m) to Phakding (2640m) - 5 hours. Transfer to the domestic airport to fly to Lukla, which is a beautiful mountain town. After lunch at Lukla start to trek. This trail continues along a small path with many climbs and descents following the left bank of Dudh Koshi River to Phakding. Overnight stay at trekkers lodge. 12th Nov: Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440 m) - 6 hours. 13th Nov: Day 05: Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar (3440 m). 14th Nov: Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3867 m) - 5 to 6 hours. 15th Nov: Day 07: Tengboche to Dingboche (4260 m) - 5 hours. 16th Nov: Day 08: Dingbuche (4260 m) for acclimatization. 17th Nov: Day 09: Dingbuche to Lobuche (4930 m) - 5 to 6 hours. 18th Nov: Day 10: Lobuche to Gorakh Shep (5180 m) - 4 to 5 hours – [Kala Patthar excursion 3 hours] –After breakfast, start early to trek to Gorakh Shep. Trek up the valley following the rocky moraine path, view icy glacial pond and icebergs of Khumbu glacier, down below. Break the trek at Gorakh Shep for Lunch and a short rest. After lunch Start trek to Kala Patthar (5545m), the walk is steeply ascending until you reach a rocky spot Kala Patthar. We reach Kala Patthar around sunset to see a panoramic view of Mt. Everest and many other mountain peaks like Mt. Pumori, Mt. Lingtren, Mt. Khumbutse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Thamserku and many more. After the excursion and Photography, return back to Gorakh Shep. End the day with a joyful delicious dinner. 19th Nov: Day 11: Gorakh Shep to Pheriche (4280 m) – 7 hours – [EBC excursion 5 hrs] –After breakfast, early morning at 6am Start trek to Everest Base Camp (5364 m) about 2.5 hours, gently ascending with rough zigzag. After a short excursion of Everest Base Camp. Trek down descending to Gorakh Shep. After lunch, start trek to Pheriche. Overnight stay at trekkers lodge. 20th Nov: Day 12: Pheriche to Tengboche (3867 m) - 5 hours. 21st Nov: Day 13: Tengboche to Khumjung (3780 m) - 5 hours. 22nd Nov: Day 14: Khumjung to Phakding (2610 m) – 6 hours. 23rd Nov: Day 15: Phakding to Lukla –5 hours 24th Nov: Day 16: Lukla to Kathmandu. Today take an early morning flight back to Kathmandu that takes approximately 30 minutes. Arrival pick up from Kathmandu airport and transfer to related hotel. 25th November 2013 : Day 17: Departure. After breakfast, transfer to international airport as your airport check in schedule or proceed for further program.
