Hey yall! WE MADE IT HALFWAY! Less than 500 miles to Springer Mountain. Service has been pretty scarce of late, but hopefully the pictures give you a good idea of what weve been up to. We got to hike through stunning Grayson Highlands this week, where we met/illegally fed and petted our first feral ponies (Aside: All I want for Christmas is a feral pony I will be naming Lil Lil Sebastian and training to perform circus tricks with my dog, Ziggy). We had the best hiking companions on the planet for about a week, a brother/sister duo plus the sisters college buddy, and were still a little raw from the heartbreak of losing them, buuuuuuut we hear that were in for plenty of company in the coming weeks as the SOBO bubble is gaining on us.
