Hi ALL, My Friend Keri sent this to me via email. I will be dropping off items on Thursday if anyone needs help getting anything over there. I can take it. Hello friends, After seeing the devastation in Washington, IL, I am sure you, like me, wanted to know what you could do to help. Faith Acres in McHenry has a connection to a family, and she has sent information to Jodie Clow on ways that we can all get involved and help. Faith Acres will be collecting donations that will be taken to the people who need them most this weekend. Can you help? Items needed are: *Coats, hats, gloves (VERY gently used if not brand new) *Blankets *Pillows and sheets *granola bars *water bottles *tooth paste *toilet paper *deodorant *clothing items for high school age (again...VERY gently used if not brand new) Having witnessed many donation centers after a disaster, I can tell you one of the BIGGEST frustrations is sorting through stuff that is stained, ripped, and generally belonging in the trash. Not saying any of you would donate these kind of items, but I cant emphasize how important it is for us to give the best we can if God moves us to help. :) Jodie said they will be the official collection site: 120 Dowell, McHenry Thank you, in advance, for prayerfully considering this opportunity to help!!
